Performing at the Lansdowne Club

posted by george December 12 2017

Tonight I performed at the Lansdowne Club in Mayfair. It was a private event and I played pieces by Stravinsky, Liszt, Balakirev and Scarlatti. I also accompanied my sister Adelaide, she sang a number of songs including O Sole Mio, O Holy Night and Pietà Signore.

The Lansdowne Club is in Berkeley Square and was built in around 1765. It is a beautiful building with some amazing ceilings.

The event we were performing for was attended by some very honorouble guests including the MP Paul Scully, Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin who is Chaplain to the Queen and the Speaker. It was a lot of fun and the food was great too!
